Parents & guardians — frequently asked questions
Who is AGD Academy for?+
Young people aged roughly 6–18, plus older teens moving into work or enterprise. Younger children study with a parent or guardian alongside them.
Is it safe for my child?+
Lessons stream inside our own classroom player with no autoplay into unrelated videos, and every community post is moderated by the AGD team and regional coordinators.
How much does it cost?+
Many courses are completely free. Paid courses show the price in your local currency at checkout, and scholarship places are available for families who need them — speak to your regional coordinator.
Can I see how my child is getting on?+
Yes. Every course card shows a completion percentage, and each lesson can be marked complete, so progress is visible at a glance whenever you sign in together.
Do they get a certificate?+
Certificates of completion are issued when a course is finished, and assignments submitted through the lesson resources are reviewed by the course instructor.
How do I get help?+
Ask a question directly under any course, post in the community feed, or contact your regional coordinator — London, Isheri, Badagry or Logudu.
